I think some of us have already mentioned this.

The community is still growing and the server capacity hasn’t increased enough to catch up with the growth rate.

with this event, it will definitely increase the donation amount and attract more donors.

I’d suggest we have this event after the one vis event or a week after that to keep the hype going, as well as to compete with the new (botting) server
And how often it should happen is up for discussion. E.g many people are looking forward to the v32 update, we should have this as part of the celebration.

We will not have such an event soon, this suggestion has been declined.
Now this might be a super-good looking benefit for players it has serious downsides both short- and long-term.

I am talking about of personal experience from hosting MMORPG servers in the past.
1. Players who donated/used cash shop before event started will feel cheated and a minitory will do PayPal/Credit Card chargebacks.
2. This often overthrows the server economy and we already have a situation with Andromida Tokens that needs attention.

After discussing with Zax I found that that he has similar experiences with previous MMORPG servers.
Now this doesn't mean we will never have such an event of a similar event but not within the next 1-2 months.

What we do believe is that special occasions such as Easter/Christmas/Newyear deserve a similar event and we will come up with an attractive solution.
This could either be discounts on certain items on Cash Shop or like you suggested bonus Andromida Tokens.
The importance here is that such events need to be time-limited and can't happen too often.
