  • Why is the idea good, which current problem does it fix, which mechanic does it improve? this can be a personal mark of this server, this can improved the support variety and tacticals with more options in aggresive support type similar to STW (Aggresive Melee Support) Veronif (Aggresive Magic Support) and Vincent (Aggresive Magic Support)
  • How urgent is this, rate 1-5 Urgent 1
  • Will it affect the game economy? no affected
  • Will it affect a core feature of the game? no
  • If we approve it, what will happen? more diversity of RNPC and nice look RNPC
  • If we decline it, what will happen? nothing

any custom character is a big disaster. I think GE has enough characters for people to choose and play with already.

Custom Characters should be event only like leveling Sir Lyndon to HM10 for things

Just a quick statement on this, I will get back to this thread after server launch.
Custom characters with unique status points and stances are big NO for us at the moment.
What we can do is offer additional characters with same status points and stances as existing characters.
This way people have more choice when it comes to cosmetics and we avoid the risk of changing the game balance/meta.

Example: Sir Lyndon with same stats and stances as Fighter.

This even increases the strategy in the game because just seeing a character you will not automatically know what stance him uses

Do not mix Pre-Kielche chars with post-Kielche.
Pre-Kielche chars have less nodes in their bones model & less model details, so mixing them can cause a lot of bugs (visual).
For example, moving Heyran body to Bernelli model used to (haven`t check it for years) trash the face, as post-Kielche chars have a dedicated model node for tooths (jaw to use in some animations), while older ones don't. Thats it.

maybe for that reason exist test server mix for test before implemented? some of these if possible and others not based on what you say!

Within current timelines of launching the server....i doubt threre`re time to test such stuff.
Yet is can be tested& implemented manually ("just for me" type of client modifications). Anyway I was just warning about limits and cases. Of course there`re many models that can be switched, even if some are old and replaced with newer ones. Ashardalon aka starstorm did it with Barrol=> Mifuyu ,for example. He even wrote a guide so you can try changing different models to see if it looks okay.

ty for that info but in my thoughts there was never the idea that they were made pre-launch

We will not implement custom characters that have custom stats and custom stances.
Many people still have trauma from that on other private server. The game already has more than enough existing characters.
