Description:
Faction A is pure PVE (does not pvp or take part in colony war at all).
Faction B make war with B, demanding money of else they keep war up.
Faction B kill afkers from B (also farm kills from it).
Faction B also war with other PVE factions and extort money from them.

Suggestion:
Pacifist mode for players and factions.
Players who choose this mode cannot force-attack other players; cannot be forced-attack by other players.
Pacifist players may be attack by Enemy Faction (from CW)

Pacifist factions cannot declare war to another faction and cannot be wared upon.

Why is it good?
It protects newbies and pve players from being harrassed by the others (using CW as a tool).
These pve players choose not to take part in pvp and it's unfair for them to be killed for extortion, especially for newbies.

How urgent is this?

How it will affect the economy and core feature of the game?
None that i can think of.
Since these PVE players do not join CB or CW.

If we approve it:
More PVE and newbs are protected, alot of frustration can be saved.
These negativity can affect alot of players and increase tension/ unneccessary conflict between players.
For new players who havent got enough gears, they are always the one suffered.

The extorting group of players have no other way but to stop their harrasing and all will be happy (besides them).


If we decline it:
Tension will build up. More negativity/conflict will spark.
More newbies will give up.
As the harrassers feel their success, they will expand the extort operation to more targets.
More and more pve players will get drag into this, to the point they will quit the game (especially new players).
That will have a very bad impact on our server.

While the suggestion is good, the effort required is simply too high.
We are already way behind on schedule regarding version upgrade and the suggested features requires about 40 hours of work, if not way more.

So when all the shedule stuff finish this can go on.
I dont mind waiting (cos i already topup alot to bear the wait).
But i dont like to see ppl like those making profit and farm kills+having fun on other ppl's frustration.

We don't have a queue list due to the simple fact we are only two people. If there was a development team this would be possible.
We don't want to give players false hopes so we are realistic, if a suggestion is declined due to too much work involved, that decision is pretty much final.

The premise about the pros and cons of being part of a faction is wrong here.
The pro is you have access to the faction buff and faction missions, the con (risk) is getting killed by players from enemy factions.

I strongly advise players to shift this topic towards a discussion if this behaviour should be allowed in the first place.
Here are a few personal notes on this matter:
1. Factions are a gathering place for new and veteran players alike, they are essential to a healthy community.
2. Being part of a faction from the perspective of a player shouldn't have any cons/risks at all.
3. The faction war system was introduced so factions can compete over endgame content.
I don't see how this is benefitial to the community as a whole if war gets declared upon factions that don't touch endgame.
4. The faction war system was never designed to generate Vis by extorting it from other factions.

Which clan is making a profit from this?

Implementation of a feature like this will very likely complicate/ruin current systems in place to ensure that PvP is available in Granado Espada. For example, a player cannot attack a field boss if they are not in a faction without being forced into PvP and one cannot join a faction without the ability to be declared war on by another faction. Which concludes that field bosses are a PvP event- the wars are decided by the players themselves and politics. There are enough instanced based missions as it is, we don't need field bosses to be PvE only. Now for a lot of reasons I believe this is not a good idea and this kind of change would completely remove politics in the game all together. Whether or not something like that affects you directly, it would affect the competitive aspects of GE and cater to a very casual end game. These are some serious changes to the ecosystem of granado espada you would need to think about first. I think so dramatic that it's out of the question even if Dianmir spends the months it would take to implement.

Most clans are at war for a reason other than money.

Is a faction actually doing this right now on the server?

If I had to make a guess, perhaps it's the KetananMalayu faction?
This is based on the fact that they are at war with Offline and multiple other non-PvP participating factions.

If it's true, then I find this hilarious. They aren't a threat at all so they bully the PvE factions.

Whoever it is, they are being assholes, that's true, but they are fully within their rights to war whatever existing clan they want.

There is a pacifist mode for players, it's called being factionless.

That said, assuming I'm correct in my assumption, if you guys find yourself in trouble with them, feel free to call on me. I'll be happy to come and dispose of them.
