For newcomers that do not know much about the game, this thread is for you.
Here are a few things you need to do:

2/ Read this thread, apply, adapt and enjoy the game.
Part 1: Some basic things about the game:
1a. The family level system:
Right now, each player can have up to 24 barracks in their "house".
Each barrack holds 9 characters.
So that's a total of 216 slots.
To unlock these barracks, you need Barrack Slot License (100k feso from Feso Shop, or 5 a.token from Cash Shop, usual price for trading 3m)
The more barrack you unlock, the more BSL it will cost for next barrack.
Talk to Nunez in Coimbra to unlock more.
Each character you have, along with its level, will count toward your family level.
This is what i call "Family Experience Point".
If u get a character you already have, you will earn less FEP for that char.
So optimally speaking, we should only get 1x of every characters in the game.
All the 1st time characters will earn the same FEP, does not matter what type it is (feso shop, master stone, HM stone, etc...)
So for your budget, you should always try to get the cheaper ones first before moving on to the more expensive ones.
For example: those 100k-200k-300k char from feshop shop, or vet stone (90-100m)...
For Stock characters like fighter, musk, scout, wizard and warlock, each gender is considered a different char.
Example: musk male and musk female are 2 chars.
Your family level will give you points for Family Attribute Table.
Higher fam level = better FAT = more dps, more tanky... (depends on how u add the points)
This is the reason why experienced players always level up their family first...
At family level 85 and if u finish all extra Quest to earn FA points at Master Guardian, you will have enough point to add almost every good "perk" to your table.
(i'm not there yet, so i can't provide an example of how imba it is... but you can tell the difference from my own FAT)
Example:
Note:
Some players do not like to wait (for finding new chars), so they level up a bunch of stock characters to fill up their barracks.
Then later on, replace them. By this method, you can rush to lvl85 real quick.
But you need to unlock (alot) more Barrack slots than "1st char" gatherers.
In my case, i go slow.
First i collect all cheap characters from feso shop.
Then move on to vet stone, exp stone, etc...
Took me almost 2 months, but i dont waste any effort in dellete+recreate any chars.
To help with this collecting process, I already created an excel file to keep track of NPC. You can check it out here:
