I decided to share the example result of montoro revision for a reference here

Let's start with the setup status for Montoro vs Canna

I use exactly the same set for every characters here except rings which need to be different per stance
- Clean Star Accessories
- Blessing of Sara Medal
- Ruby of Red Flame Artifact
- Clean family attributes
- Active Potions: Enhanced Steroid + Enhanced Total Status Ampul

The result is pretty impressive that Montoro can keep up or sometimes slightly better than Canna in term of DPS but still, his new kit will requires a good position to bring the best out of Final Disaster

i wouldnt say 2-3 seconds for it because that would be so strong in pvp. i would agree with maybe 5 though. or at lowest 4 but that could be pushing it. this all looks pretty good though. how much does bat tick dmg do? does it go up with the rest of the skill damage?

Decrese casting time for Final Disaster..make it 2-3s
I disagree with reducing the cast-time. I believe the idea with [Final Disaster] is the same with [Abyss Flare] (from Occult Magic) in that it's a very huge nuke but requires proper positioning. Do it right or get punished. I personally disagree with IMC's direction of reducing cast-times for magic users which recently seems to be the design direction with newer magic characters.

From looking purely at numbers, I think [Final Disaster] could use more damage but, I cannot say this for certain until I've tried it out. Keep in mind also that we are comparing with Canna, and not Sage Sharon or CNC who both do absurdly more damage than this.

Cast-time excludes animation lock durations. [Final Disaster] has a longer animation lock.

I noticed from the screenshots that Canna's buff [Poina], was applied to both Montoros when doing the damage test AND [Abyss Stigma] debuff was applied to the scarecrow. If Canna's buff & debuff were not applied, Montoro would do much less damage.

Just to point it out: 1 huge difference between Canna and Montoro is that Canna has a very good family-wide buff (besides her [Abyss Stigma] debuff) whereas Montoro does not. However, Montoro has other forms of utility such as bat ticks, good AoE and an invulnerability.

Overall, looks good and I'm super excited to try it out!

There are so many characters on intelligence and they are in the top, so why another one? I would understand Brunie's recycling for example. Make the shooters at least fit for something other than afk. Diversify accessories with stats on dex and not just on str and int. But now I see, using the example of the Montoro, that all this is in vain. If you have already decided to upgrade the characters, then do it en masse, enter some kind of plan, announce the characteristics in advance. And so, what's the use of one Monty?

Because they don't have infinite resources. This is their initial implementation. They have to start from somewhere.

Basically, it's not going to be only 1 character. They chose to START with this because I wrote a detailed suggestion. They are planning to do more as well. They're also looking into shooting characters and I believe Desz is starting with Christina.

If you have any suggestions on which characters to revise, then please, by all means, do write a detailed and well-constructed suggestion so the devs can also consider it.

Can we have weapon costume,medal and artifact for montoro?
He does have a unique character weapon costume called Resurrection of Evil Costume. But, the costume doesn't have inbuilt-stats.
Escarta of Evil Costume (Rod) also looks good with the snowflake theme but also does not have inbuilt-stats. Wish all weapon costumes had inbuilt-stats.

He doesn't have a medal or artifact though.

Since no one is using Monty on hard/high end missions after the buff because of codename C/Scav power, I think there's a way that he can be useful - FARMING. If you make Immortal Spirit a parmanent buff then Montoro will be more useful to do afk farming.

Well that would be useful if the int scaling worked on his normal attacks. The extra damage is only on his skills at least for now. Wouldn’t mind if it became permanent and he got scaling on normal attacks. Doubt he would compete with Cnc still with that. He is great for active farming though

to be honest, loving it. down side i cant decide and get stuck on equip as i allways start a new weapon set :x

I know this feeling all too well! But that also means that there's so much to try, and so much fun to be had!
