Repeated Login Failure

Newly-registered, want to get in and relive a great game. So I made an account, downloaded the files, ran the patcher, etc. All good so far. I go to log in using my website/forum credentials, and this is what I get:

I have input each character of my password extremely carefully, verifying each key press, so I know I'm not inputting it wrong. I changed my password, with the same result.

Any ideas?

Password can not be length 16 + characters on the keyboard.
Login (Joachim1918(2018)) - I think also has limitations, but what I don't know.
In any case, you need to create a new login and the name for the forum should not be like login

P.S. Are you sure you need a server on which you are not talking to the forum even? This is a pirate server ...
