The farm is a good feature in GE. I like playing in the farm, however, the reward is not worth the amount of time and effort put in it.
I'd suggest we increase the Exp gain and improve certain features.

1. Increase the Exp gain from doing the farming activities to x5 (or at least x 2-3 if x5 is too much)

2. Increase the harvest successful rate from removing weeds to x 5 - many recipes require the coloured leaves as an ingredient but they are really difficult to find. We can't grow them, we can only obtain from removing weeds, which is manual work with a low success rate.

3. Increase the appearance rate of wild animals

4. Decrease the cooldown time of the fishing rod

5. Increase the HP of the scarecrow

6. Sell Turry dog's soulstone in the farm shop and improve it's combat ability - this dog is really really hard to find in Katovic snowfield. Also, it's initial level is just 80 but the wild animals' 100. It can only level up if it can defeat the animals by itself.

7. Pets - can somebody tell me what they do exactly? They eat food and level up but they don't fight wild animals...

8. Last suggestion, not sure if it's possible to implement: When the recipes are used by Panfilo, there is a chance to get more portions of the dish :) He is our beloved cook after all.

  • Why is the idea good, which current problem does it fix, which mechanic does it improve?
As mentioned, the reward is not worth the amount of time and effort put in it, it's a good but wasted feature.
Some ingredients can only be obtained from the farm, in order to have a steady supply of food buff, the farm needs to be improved. I know some people do want to work as a farmer to supply food buff to their allies but the time needed is just not worth the effort.
  • How urgent is this, rate 1-5 (1 = low, 5 = high)
2

  • Will it affect the game economy?
Food ingredients will be cheaper, people will have a steady food buff supply. However, the food trading is not something that will make you rich overnight, so I guess it won't destroy the economy. Also as mentioned, you do need to put time and effort into the farm, it's not something you can do it by being AFK. The farmers do deserve some rewards.

  • Will it affect a core feature of the game?
No at all. GE is all about missions gears and quests mostly. The farm is a fun feature for people to have fun with. And it's another fun way for people to generate income other than doing missions all day long.

  • If we approve it, what will happen?
Everyone will be well fed. Farmers don't have to be poor.

  • If we decline it, what will happen?
The farm will be full of weeds. We will waste this nice feature of GE.

Agree, Ustiur Farm is one of those good ideas but bad executed, should boost the farm so more players start an interest on it

This suggestion has been accepted since it was on our roadmap anyways.
I will need quite some time though, so please don't expect a change before calender week 17/18.

Update, following changes will happen with next maintenance:
1. Sadly very complicated, farm completly broke when I tried to increase EXP. So can't happen.
2. Changing the probability is a difficult thing since the calculation is kind of messy.
Instead the reward amount has been increased from 1 to 3.
3. Same as point 1, sadly can't happen.
4. Cooldown for fishing rod has been decreased from 60 to 30 seconds.
5. Increased the HP of Scarecrow by 30%.
6. Item has been added to the farm shop.
7. They can be farmed and sold to other players, no need to change this.
8. This is too much work for too little effort.

I agree that the farm needs to be updated, since it is very very teadious to get going, but quite profitable once you get it built up.

I have some comments of the points brought up by waynemizuno

1. Since you cannot increase exp, why not lower the EXP requirements for lvling up the different activities. I do not recall the exact amounts but they grow quite big in the later levels.
2. Then instead you could increase spawn rate of said plants, and lower the time needed to interact with them. Making it faster to farm. Also the red/yellow/green leafs can be farmed in several of the Ustiur maps.
3. Wild animals spawn on command when meat item from farm shop is used. Make it somehow easier to get said meat.
4. 30 sec seems good. Lowering number of points needed for leveling up skill can also be a possiblity.
5. No comment
6. Doggo can be found on several maps across Vespanola, not hard to find at all in my opinion. It spawns in Fire Island, Topolo Durga, Ruina de Memoria, Rion Prairie and Katovic Snowfield, El Tejado Verde. However it is pretty useless against wild animals, and in general. Adding some functionality to it would be nice, like picking up loot from killing rabbits while you are at farm, or provide some meats after a while, like the other 2 pets.
7. Cockatrice and Capybara dont fight, but gather items while you are gone. Capy can get you capy food and some other materials, while Cocka gets shiny crystals, cocka eggs, and a smaaaaal chance for the 1 mil vis bar (cant remember name).
8. Instead of something so complicated, why not buff his character skill Battle Cook. Increase the already existing chance for Wildlife monster to drop a cooking ingredient while receiving a meelee hit from Panfilo.

FARMING IS LIFE, GO PLANT A TREE OR SOMETHING.

Would it be possible to reduce the points required per level? Like cooking is a nightmare. You have to cook hundreds of different dishes before you can even get some useful dishes at level 2/3.

I know. All the other experience bars are hideous as well. Mostly the experience is increased by just 1 for every successful activity. For example, I wanna level up the dog to protect the farm, but its initial level is just 60, and the wild animals are 100. imagine how long it will take?

Also removing grass is always not successful and you don't gain any experience for that. It does take time to remove them but if you're unlucky you get nothing and no experience.

Like stated before, the scripts are a nightmare. So I can only choose the path of smallest resistance. That is increasing the XP points gained per succesful action. So following changes will happen with next maintenance.

Updates on Family Farm
  • EXP amount obtained from weeding, hunting, cooking and honey collecting has been increased by 100% or more.
  • The minimum EXP amount for various activities has been increased, example: EXP varies from 2 to 3 points instead of 1 to 3.

Please don't make further suggestions after that since more changes are very likely to break that game activity.
Simply put: At some point we risk that it stops working completly. I can't invest days on this topic.

Please read more carefully what has been changed. Weeding, Hunting, Cooking and Honey collection. It doesn't mention plant cultivation.
If you can provide me 2-3 screenshots when you create plant and farm plant (cultivation has been finished) I can try to increase the EXP.
