Hi,

As a pure PVE player I was wondering if perhaps it would possible to somehow uplift the older characters to similar standards as the newer/rare ones to add variety and more choice to party formations?
I am not even thinking of total unification, but to improve some things to narrow the huge usefulness gap that exists between rare/latest quest npcs and the older ones.
This way, we could avoid nerfing the few OP characters that everyone uses, which seems to be a sensitive topics to many, yet still add a bit more variety in party formation in a game that boasts 200+ characters. yet in reality only 10 or so have any real use.
This also affects older rare characters that seems to be there simply for collection purposes.
I personally feel dispirited by the fact that in the end everyone has to use those characters because it makes no sense not tol
Right now, if you aren't using those few characters then you are just a useless waste of squad space.

This way we could:
1. avoid nerfing of the few characters which are way too powerful and thus avoid people's outrage
2. make parties more varied, with the choice of characters being based on personal taste, rather than whether we want to contribute anything or nothing at all.

Suggestion has been declined like similar suggestions before.
We are two people and what you are suggesting is multiple hundreds hours of work.

Version 32 will bring improvements to many characters that feel bad/underwhelming.
There is no sense into making custom improvements, instead we will get those improvements as part of version upgrade.

Until then players must bear with the current meta.
