Greetings, everyone.
I write this thread in order to introduce you to the changes in upcoming PVE characters / stances update. First I would like to share the reasons why do I need to do this for the game to be more interesting.
The hidden limitations of the current character/stance pool
One of the reasons that make GE standout of the other games is its uniqueness in character/stance pool, hundreds of available characters to build a team you want to use at will make the game looks interesting at first but that is not something that happened in real game lately because IMC keep pushing a good/great characters/stances behind the label called Rare NPC that comes with unrivaled stances and leave old characters/stances no reason to be pick off, Which lower the variety of choices for player to have fun with old characters they loved and that is also kill the unique selling point of GE.
Introduce the RE: PvE season
In order to solve the above statement, one thing I can do is to rolling changes to existing characters/stances over time. This aims to re-value all available characters or expert stances onward for them to be able to use in PVE contents again while they may or may not be strong like future characters that IMC tuning to be overpower but at least they will have a potential to be playable not to just left dusting in Barrack
To keep it short what I'm planning to do are as follows
1. Keep updating older characters / stances to be more relevant to current contents over time (only PVE side), every week patch will introduce new changes to 1-2 characters.
2. Trying to push auto-attack based characters to be able to keep up with skill based characters.
3. Introduce some new mechanics that is not depends entirely on extra [STAT] purely to make it more fun to play.
That's all for RE: PvE season introduction which I will start rolling changes starting from this week.
Let's discuss.
