Hello everyone!
So I have been playing in this server for almost 2 weeks now, at first I was confused and ready to write of Andromeda, partly because of my experience playing in rGE and how stuff is farmed there and how you get to gear up characters in that server...
But after finishing the scenario questlines and the Family level up boxes and journals and whatnot, I was overwhelmed with how much it gives you!
BH, Ind Raids, FMs and Infinito actually give good rewards! not unlike rGE absolute trash rewards which took 7 years worth of rework suggestions from the community and admin still have not acted upon it to this day, I played a bit of rGE this week and was appalled to see how terrible the rewards were...
Only "negative" thing I felt during playtime was the x5 rates, rGE had x10 which meant you could take several chars to HM10 in a week of AFK farming in SCR, I was so obsessed with lvling my chars but now that I realized I was doing it wrong it kind of gave clarity to how I should play in this server and stop playing in it as if im still playing rGE, but this is because I stopped playing retail since 2011 and have played rGE almost exclusively this entire time (I had spent a month playing in jGE)
But you know what? I actually kind of like how you need to spend time playing the game, drop rates are not x10 like in rGE so you have to spend more time farming for items needed for quest/farming etc. it kind of felt organic and nostalgic to me since it reminded me of the awful rates of retail sGE back then...
So I would like to give my warmest thanks to Dianmir and company for making this server possible, I am hopeful that someday I get to spend a bit of money to support the sustenance and continued development of this private server...
